Landon has been getting more and more chores lately.  The first chore was cleaning his room (which he has been doing for years) and continued from there when he was using several glasses and leaving them on the counter.  So, we gave him dish duty.  Then, the other day I told him to come back home from his friend's house at a certain time.  At first he came back early, but didn't stay.  He knew he had a little more time to spare so off he went for the extra 30 minutes.  Well, it turns out he didn't come back until an hour or so later.  He was given the chore of sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming the floors and I took away his electronics.  Did he learn his lesson?  Not sure.  I guess only time will tell.  He will get more chores added to this list if this kind of behavior continues.  Before too long, I will be able to kick up my feet and relax.  I'd say that's a pretty good deal!

I took some other pictures as well.  Just some random shots from the other day.

It was time to get our kids out of the house for some fun.  The weather was getting colder, meaning more time inside, which left our kiddos feeling a bit down.  And, I don't want to forget to mention that it meant more time to fight.  We were all due.  This place is so cool!  We started off in a place that had nets and things to climb on, slides, tunnels, etc.  After spending some time there (boy it was difficult getting them to leave), we moved along and found a place to do crafts.  There were so many things to do, even though the place really wasn't that big.  After we were finished up, the kids begged us to go back to the original place.  Of course, my boys love to climb so it didn't shock me that they were ready for round two.  Big day for us, that's for sure.  I am so glad we went!
