We've had other things happening, too. Liam went to the eye doctor and the doc wrote a script for glasses. The first time we went no surgery or glasses were needed. So, needless to say, we have been moving up the ladder in that department. I think the next step is surgery, but I'm not too sure about that. I guess it's 10 weeks in the glasses and then back to the doctor to find out our next move. We ended up getting two pair in case one broke. The doctor also mentioned that if he doesn't wear them all day, it's not the end of the world. He told us that as long as he wears them for at least two hours a day, he'll be fine. We go back at the end of October for the more permanent verdict. I'm not too worried because I know whatever they suggest is the right thing for Liam. Getting him to sit still to administer drugs, however....
To start this off, we made a short trip to Bob Hedge Park. Short = Liam peed his pants 10 minutes in, and I mean like really peed. Fail. We left.
The next stop on our list was a peaceful walk. Actually, this walk was more for me than for the kids. Kids and walks, runs, jogs, etc. are good for wearing the little suckers out. Winning! Regardless, we all had fun looking at nature and enjoying the beautiful weather.
Monkey see, monkey do.
Two peas in a pod. They're not brothers or anything.
Next, we went to my Aunt's for a swim. The boys had a blast! This was Aaron's first time going. The other two times we went it was through the week so Dad couldn't go. :( Aaron loved it!
I love how Liam is holding Landon's foot. So sweet.
Boys being boys.
Next up is Legos. Liam is definitely my Lego man. Once he discovered Landon's Lego kits it was bye bye to the other toys. Every morning he wakes up, he wants milk, donuts and the bag of Legos (maybe the tablet from time to time). It's like clockwork. The only bad thing about these itty bitty Lego pieces is that they are very messy. As of right now, he loves to build houses and towers. Also, Liam's eyes were dialated here. We had an appointment with the eye doc. You can see his eyes more in the second to last set of pictures.
Next was a little play time with our puppy dog, Peyton. Landon loves to sleep with him and plays with him often. They are best buddies.
I found this next picture to be a little ironic. Liam is usually the blur in photographs because he moves at mach speeds, but this time it was Peyton. The look on Liam's face was priceless.
Laying on their puppy.
And for the last set of pictures I have Liam wearing one pair of glasses outside like a good boy. But these glasses have been returned and exchanged since this picture was taken. Now he has two different pair. I'm still getting used to him having something on his face. :) He does look pretty darn cute, but he reminds me of someone and can't place it. Maybe the kid from "Jerry Maguire"? You know the one, "The human head weighs eight pounds" kid?
