Crafty Valentines

Landon had his Valentine's Day Party at school yesterday.  The evening before he asked me if we could find something to put his valentine cards in.  Unless you make your own, it's difficult to find a cute empty box or pre-made bags.  We found some white cloth bags he liked and then paired them with some red glitter.  We were probably in the store for an hour looking for something that seemed non-existent.  He had the idea that he could draw on the bags with the glitter -- giving it his own personal touch without spending hours or tons of money on it.  He's a boy, and boys typically keep things simple.  I love the "less is more" mentality (another reason I love having boys).  Liam helped as much as Landon would allow, which is understandable.  After all, it was Landon's project.  Landon was proud.  Liam is more of a watcher.  He loves to sit back and take it all in anyway, so it worked out.  He can learn a lot from Landon, and he does!  I loved Landon's little valentine bag.  I will cherish it forever.

Who knew something so small could make a child so happy!

And then, for good measure, I attempted a snowflake shot.  Not bad, but definitely not the best.  These are extremely difficult to do, come to find out.  The hardest part is finding them and keeping them from melting while you're trying to get the money shot!
