Easter = Eggcitement and Egghaustion

Easter has become a quite a circus for us.  In fact, I don't remember our Easter Sundays ever being so chaotic in the past.  If we're lucky we start Easter off with an Easter Party at the Zoo.  Then last-minute shopping, last-minute decorating and planning, strategically placing things for the super smart three-foot-something child, getting everyone up to find what the Easter Bunny had left, chow down on fattening, energy-boosting everything, clean up, get the kids ready for church, hunt for eggs, and then finally make a trip over the hill and through the woods to Grandma's house.  Let's not go through the motions of what we do while we're at Grandma's.  But, I'll keep it simple - we eat and hunt eggs.  The End.

By the time the day is done, we were egghausted.

Landon was overjoyed to get more markers.  This kid can dry a marker out like it's nobody's business.

And, of course, Liam was just happy to get basket grass.

Cars.  Always a fine choice for little guys.

Good times.

First taste of chocolate, ladies and gents.  He wasn't sure about it at first, but by the end of the day, he was hooked like every other kid in America.

Seriously, it never ended.

Then, off to hunt for eggs.

You'll have to excuse my plant.  It's been hibernating in our garage through the winter.

Of course, there's nothing like taking an egg hunting breather to play.  And yes, folks, he is now going down all by himself (climbing up, too!).  Quite an improvement for him.

We hope everyone had a nice Easter!
